Title: Senior Cricket Development Manager
Reporting to: Director of Charitable Programmes

PRIMARY PURPOSE
To be part of a committed, passionate team that provides opportunities to enhance the prospects of disadvantaged and disabled young people using cricket and other forms of sport and recreation to engage with them.
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a passionate, inspiring and experienced individual who can demonstrate the ability to develop and launch a range of sporting opportunities. The individual will need to be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding/knowledge/experience of current sporting landscape and the associated networks within sport to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of a range of programmes.
- Communicate with a number of stakeholders to build partnerships to ensure the success of the programmes within a local community
- Undertake a line management role and demonstrate an ability to motivate staff to succeed.
- Oversee the administration and delivery of competitions and events
- Financial management of the programmes budgets
KEY TASKS
- Develop plan and manage national sporting programmes often within specific community or targeted groups e.g. disadvantaged, disabled and underrepresented groups.
- The main focus of the programmes will be to create sustainable community led club environments and build participation and competitive opportunities, whilst tackling social issues identified within the sport and promoting healthy lifestyle choices
- Undertake research to identify the needs of young people and their communities to assess existing activity and identify need for new initiatives
- Establish strong relationships and develop partnerships with national governing bodies and other key organisations and community groups to ensure the success of the programme(s)
- Working alongside the Monitoring and Evaluation Executive develop consistent frameworks across all programmes with clear KPI’s, targets and outcomes to enable the Lord’s Taverners to measure the success of the programme and produce detailed written reports
- Be pro-active and work closely with the rest of the charitable programmes team to identify prospects in developing new or additional opportunities.
- Provide quarterly progress reports and presentations to the Charitable Programmes Committee.
