CRICKET JOBS: Women's Club Development Coordinator - Cricket Victoria (Aus)

Cricket Victoria is one of Australia's leading sporting organisations and carries the responsibility of developing Cricket throughout the State. The Game and Market Development department is responsible for promoting and facilitating the expansion of community cricket at all levels within Victoria, to underpin growth and participation and the success of the Victorian and Australian teams.
We are seeking a Women’s Club Development Coordinator to facilitate the promotion, organisation and development of women’s cricket in Victoria in conjunction with various stakeholders as directed by Cricket Victoria (CV).
Duties of this position include:
- To promote the development and enjoyment of all forms of women’s cricket.
- To increase sustainable participation in female cricket.
- Work directly with all existing female cricket clubs, particularly within the Cricket Victoria Women’s Community Cricket Competition (WCC) to ensure ongoing sustainability and development of the clubs and competition.
- Investigate and develop opportunities for expanding competitive senior and junior female cricket through existing cricket associations as well as liaising with local government and internal CV staff.
- Build and enhance the capacity of Women’s club cricket and increase participation.
To be successful you will have a tertiary qualification in sports management, teaching or similar, and a strong understanding of cricket from playing, coaching and administration. You will have exceptional written and verbal communication, along with the ability to develop relationships and be able to work under pressure. Level 2 coaching accreditation would be an advantage. A competitive salary package is available for this role. A car allowance as well as other tools of the trade including mobile phone and laptop will be provided
This position involves working in the field with clubs and committees. Ability to attend after hours and weekend clinics, meetings and events is required as well as excellent time management skills.
