Cricket Australia is one of the nation’s premier sporting bodies, and provides an exciting, dynamic working environment within the sports and entertainment industry. As an organisation it is responsible for overseeing and developing Cricket on a national level, ultimately with a responsibility for the national cricket team.
We are seeking an experienced Digital Content Producer who can oversee a diverse portfolio and drive business outcomes. The role will sit within the Digital team to deliver digital media coverage of the WBBL.
The key responsibilities for the role will include:
- Creating content for the WBBL website and related social media platforms
- Increasing fan engagement for the WBBL that not only promotes the competition to fans, but also highlights the benefits to young women to stay in the national talent pathway
- Assisting state associations/BBL clubs with their WBBL coverage, including writing and delivering content strategies, especially around social media
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Strong written communication skills and experience in using Adobe editing products such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar
- Experience in managing social media communities
- An understanding of digital and social media analytics
- An excellent knowledge of cricket in general, and women’s cricket in particular
