The Talent ID Manager will ensure the existence of effective systems and processes for identifying emerging talent for New Zealand Cricket’s High Performance programmes, assist in selection of national teams (New Zealand A, New Zealand Under-19), advise BLACKCAPS selectors and  assist in developing Major Associations’ talent identification programmes.  This position will liaise closely with the BLACKCAPS Head Coach, BLACKCAPS selector and the High Performance team on current and future needs.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of high performance programmes in professional sport, as well as proven experience and success in cricket management or selection at a domestic first class and/or international level.
