CRICKET JOBS: Strength and Conditioning Coach - Durham CCC (UK)

Durham County Cricket Club seeks an experienced Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team. Along with the Head Coach, Physiotherapist and Club Doctor you will be given the opportunity to work as part of the team at the Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground. Durham CCC have enjoyed great on field success recently and your role will be to assist in maintaining this by ensuring that Durham’s players of all ages, achieve and maintain an optimal level of physical conditioning to play county cricket.
Full time position – flexible working hours often outside of normal office hours, including evenings and weekends will be required. Based at Emirates Durham ICG – however regular travel throughout the county and country may be required during the summer, as well as overseas tours when required.

THE ROLE:
- The DCCC Strength and Conditioning Coach is tasked, alongside the Physiotherapist and Club Doctor, with the responsibility of leading and delivering outstanding strength and conditioning support to both the Professional Cricket Staff and Academy Players of the Club.
- The aim of DCCC’s Strength and Conditioning Coach is to optimise the physical preparation of DCCC’s cricketers, in line with the demands of the game, and the physical benchmark for professional cricketers, as identified by DCCC and the ECB.
- To be a key member of DCCC Science and Medicine Team contributing to the strategy and development of the service at all levels, in association with the Chief Operating Officer and Head Coach.
