JOBS: Positive Futures Project Worker - Trent Bridge Community Trust

Positive Futures is a national social inclusion programme using sport and leisure activities to engage with disadvantaged and socially marginalised young people.
The programme aims to have a positive influence on young people's lives by widening horizons and providing access to new opportunities within a culturally familiar environment. Using sport and leisure activities as a catalyst to encourage project participation, young people are steered towards education, training and employment.
This is a newly-created fixed-term post for a full-time position to work in Bingham as part of a joint partnership between the Trent Bridge Community Trust and Rushcliffe Borough Council.
You will need to be a qualified Youth Worker having experience of engaging young people in a youth and/or sporting environment, in particular, working with young people at risk of anti-social behaviour.
The successful candidate for this post will be a flexible worker, willing to work evenings, with a hands-on approach, strong organisational and IT skills, and an ability to seek out and respond positively to development opportunities as they arise.
