Kettering Science Academy is seeking to appoint an inspiring and motivated Teacher of Boys PE on a permanent basis from September 2014. The successful candidate will be expected to help develop and lead cricket at the academy.
This position would suit both NQTs and more experienced teachers seeking to broaden their experience.
We are keen to appoint a teacher who wants to be part of a forward looking team focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences for students across the 11-18 age range. We offer a full induction programme, extensive professional development opportunities with excellent support and a rich menu of extra-curricular activities.
This is an exciting time in our history having moved into a new purpose built £26million Academy building in September 2012 including a dance studio, 4 badminton court sports hall, fitness suite, sports fields marked for athletics, football, cricket and rugby. The building boasts state of the art learning facilities with each room equipped with its own SMART board. You will benefit from the increased use of innovative IT and equipment in lessons to further motivate and engage students. This includes a range of multi-media tools such as laptops and iPads.
