Performance Analyst
Cricket Tasmania is the governing body of cricket in Tasmania promoting and developing the game throughout the state. As a unique and iconic sporting organisation it has responsibility for all aspects of the sport within Tasmania from junior cricket and coaching programs through to professional players, coaches and umpires.
Cricket Tasmania has an exciting opportunity available for a Performance Analyst to join Cricket Tasmania’s High Performance team. Reporting to the Head Coach – Tasmanian Tigers and working closely with High Performance coaching staff the role will provide high level support to our Tigers, Roar, Hurricanes and Youth Pathway programs. With attention to detail key in this role, the successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of cricket and understanding of Information Technology.
Key role responsibilities include:
- Managing match day coding duties for the Tasmanian Tigers, Hobart Hurricanes, Tasmanian Roar and National Youth Championship matches in Hobart
- Managing and maintaining the Fairplay database for the High Performance team
- Providing pre and post-match footage of teams and individuals for review and analysis
- Managing and maintaining technology resources within the High Performance Centre
- Coordinating and delivering training in the use of Fairplay for High Performance staff members
- Any other coaching or operational duties that may be reasonably requested
