We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Payroll Officer to manage the end to end payroll process. Ensuring timely delivery and
accurate and insightful reporting.

You will be responsible for:
 

•     Execute end to end Payroll processing including employee setup at commencement.
•     Ensure compliance to Statutory and contractual requirements (Government bodies, CA, players,
•     umpires, casuals etc.)
•     Complete year-end and month-end processes to ensure accurate reporting
•     Preparation of annual payment summaries
•     Maintain integrity of payroll and finance systems
•     Liaise with Senior Management, Management Accountant and Budget Holders regarding:

        Payroll reporting and special requirements
        Reforecasting & budgeting
        Variance analysis

•     Deliver financial and non-financial insights that can create value
•     Drive process (systems and behavioural) improvement to create efficient & effective
•     resource management
•     Lead monthly payroll, headcount and metric reporting for Cricket Victoria (CV) and Cricket Australia (CA)
•     Lead the recharge process with CA proactive and responsive ability to meet deadlines and deliver results with accuracy and a sense of urgency

To be successful you will have:
 

•     At least 3 - 5 years of Payroll experience
•     Micropay Meridian experience preferred
•     High attention to detail and an understanding that complete confidentiality is required at all times
•     Current knowledge of employment legislation and processes including payroll tax and superannuation
•     Experience in analytical and insights reporting
•     Solid stakeholder engagement and relationship building
•     Proven experience in process improvement/continuous improvement
•     Strong business intelligence (BI) experience
•     Multiple stakeholder management
•     Certificate or Diploma in Payroll Management (ideal)
