An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join one of the UK’s largest cricket and sports team wear companies on a permanent basis, 37.5 hours per week. All Rounder Cricket Ltd is based in Headingley, Leeds and has experienced rapid growth over the last three years in the cricket, hockey and team wear market (www.allroundercricket.com). The position will be based at both the Headingley Store and the All Rounder Offices in Adwalton, Bradford.

Predominantly office based, duties will include structuring and developing new marketing plans and strategies, identifying target markets and communicating with them, managing the production of all promotional material and analysing competitors’ services and market trends . The candidate will also be responsible for Digital marketing and the day-to-day management of Email marketing and Social Media. 

The ideal candidate will be a team player who has a strong background in marketing and also be accustomed to business development, a strong man manager with excellent administrative and organisational skills, experience of selling and marketing to organisations and end users alike, as well as having knowledge of cricket and cricket retail within the UK.

 

Essential Skills

  • Proficient at creating and implementing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Have good knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
  • Be able to form and develop commercial relationships with key contacts
  • Extensive experience of digital marketing including SEO
  • Considerable knowledge of direct email marketing and the effective use of Social Media
  • Adept at developing and producing promotional material in conjunction with designer/printer
  • Proactive and able to take the initiative on projects
  • Good commercial awareness with a willingness to be involved in business development
  • Confident in communicating with and reporting to company management
  • The ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales
  • Full Clean driving license with own car
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Competent use of Design Packages such as Corel Draw / Publisher

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of cricket and cricketing retail within the UK
  • Understanding of business development
  • Familiar with managing websites
  • Excellent communicational skills
  • Confidence to ‘sell’ your ideas

 

Salary

£25-30k depending on experience.
