Cricket Australia (CA) is one of the nation’s premier sporting bodies, and provides an exciting, dynamic environment within the sports and entertainment industry. CA is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket on a national level, ultimately with a responsibility for the national cricket team.
Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, the role is responsible for working with both internal and external stakeholders to assist in the delivery of the planning & analysis requirements across Australian Cricket.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Australian Cricket-wide analysis of key business drivers
- Identifying and monitoring financial risks and opportunities
- Development of long range projections
- Monthly and year end management reporting
- Assisting with budgeting & forecasting preparation
- Month end variance analysis and commentary
- Any adhoc finance projects as required
In order to be successful in your application, you must have relevant experience working within a corporate environment. It is essential you are experienced in management reporting, have strong commercial analysis skills, an eye for detail and an ability to engage your stakeholders across Australian Cricket to understand our business requirements.
Ideally you are qualified or part qualified (CA / CPA or equivalent) and looking for a company that can provide mentoring and support. A self-starter, you are seeking an opportunity to utilise your finance skills to assist in strategic business decisions. It is essential you have strong Excel skills.
