Southland Cricket Association, based in Invercargill  

The Southland Cricket Association (SCA) is seeking a Head Groundsman with relevant turf management qualifications and experience to oversee, develop and prepare cricket grounds in Southland, including the facilities of the first class venue at Queens Park, Invercargill. 

The Head Groundsman’s main responsibility will be ensuring the standard of surfaces at Queens Park Oval meet the NZ Cricket Warrant of Fitness for First Class Cricket. The role will also support and oversee the development of Club and School cricket grounds across Southland and be responsible for the facility maintenance at Queens Park. 

The following industry qualifications and experience are required:

• Level 4 Turf Management qualification essential
• 3-5 years experience in industry
• Experience working with First Class cricket grounds and facilities
