ABOUT - SBS BANK OTAGO VOLTS:

The SBS Bank Otago Volts are one of six Major Association teams that compete in all forms of New Zealand Cricket domestic competitions.  Otago Cricket has the primary focus to support the growth, development and success of cricket across the wider Otago and Southland region.  The SBS Bank Otago Volts are the regions flagship team and have experienced excellent success over the past seasons including New Zealand representation at the Champions League in the 2013/14 season. Their national standing through strong performance has ensured the elevation of a number of players into the Black Caps and heightened nationwide credibility as a Major Association.
Key Responsibilities

The Head Coach, reporting to the proposed position of Manager Performance & Talent will play a crucial role in the success of the team across the three formats of domestic cricket and in the development of players as they aspire for higher International honors. 

You will take responsibility for tactical and technical coaching, leadership, effective team training, in-depth analysis, planning, player development and selection in a manner which upholds the values and credibility of the SBS Bank Otago Volts and Otago Cricket. This is an outstanding opportunity for you to apply your coaching experience, knowledge and skills in a high level coaching capacity and high performance environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
 

•     Excellent technical and tactical cricket capability and high performance coaching knowledge and experience at a similar level (domestic level or higher)
•     Proven leadership track record and a collaborative approach to athlete management
•     Be a methodical planner and outstanding communicator
•     Knowledge and experience with relevant skill and game analysis software
•     Hold a minimum NZC Level 3 Coaching qualification (or equivalent)
•     Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
