Derbyshire Cricket Board Ltd is the Governing Body for recreational cricket in Derbyshire delivering services in support of the cricket community across the county. Derbyshire Cricket Board works in partnership with a number of key stakeholders to deliver against our Outcomes Framework.
The Head of DCB will lead the staff of the Derbyshire Cricket Board and will report directly to the Directors of the company. The Head of DCB will be mainly responsible for the delegation of work for all DCB Staff. As part of Derbyshire Cricket Board’s Outcomes Framework and the overall strategy for cricket in Derbyshire, the role of Head of DCB will support all areas of recreational cricket in Derbyshire.
The Head of DCB will take a full role in the Director’s meetings of the DCB.
The overall objective of the role will be to successfully plan, manage and deliver all aspects of DCB’s Strategic Plan and Cricket Programmes in conjunction with other DCB Staff.
The Head of DCB will be predominantly based at the Derbyshire Cricket Board Offices at the Town Hall, Ripley but will be required to travel on a regular basis for meetings and other engagements with key stakeholders, sponsors and other relevant agencies. To fulfil the role required it will be necessary to work to the demands of the position and this will include evenings and weekends when required.
