CRICKET JOBS: General Administrator - Shropshire CB (UK)

Shropshire Cricket Board (SCB) is wishing to recruit an experienced and competent General Administrator
The SCB has the fundamental aim of facilitating and supporting both the playing and development of cricket at all levels and age groups in Shropshire.
The Role:
- Develop and support systems that are needed to ensure the Board runs effectively and efficiently
- Support the administration of all performance programmes including the EPP
- Working with squad managers and coaches to support their administration requirements
- Support specific cricket programmes
- Ensure that reports as necessary are produced on time and are up to date
- Responsible for arranging fixtures for all performance matches and district tournaments; as well as the preparation and organisation of festivals
- Assist with the administration of the SCB Coach Education Programmes
- Assist with the delivery of the SCB marketing and business development opportunities
- Lead on the SCB Directory preparation & delivery
- Act as first point of contact for specific areas such as the Boards kit supplier, Wrekin College and IT issues
- Liaise with clubs to ensure annual affiliation fees are paid
- Register and Support 35 + clubs with NatWest CricketForce and the SCB OSCA nominations and events
- Administer and maintenance of the SCB web-site as well as supporting SCB newsletters and other methods of communication that the board employs
- Collating and analysing data from surveys; assisting with the creation of action plans that derive from feedback
- Purchase and control of office consumables
Key Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, able to accurately relay and receive information both within the Board and externally to the Board
- Has strong time management skills, able to prioritise work and is punctual all of the time
- Capable of organizing day to day operations for self and others, and able to ensure that no detail is missed
- A customer orientated mindset, understanding what customers want and keeping them informed of SCB matters
- Able to build and retain positive relationships with colleagues and customers
- Must be dependable, reliable and able to retain confidentiality
