Due to personnel changes at Cricket Victoria, we are now seeking a Finance Manager to lead our Finance Team.
Based in Jolimont, this role will report to the COO and will be responsible for:
 

•     Delivery of accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders
•     Partner with management to convey financial information, perform business analysis and contribute to decision support
•     Working with executive management on business strategy
•     Act as liaison between Cricket Victoria and Cricket Australia, coordinating funding needs across various teams as required and across all business units
•     Coordinate and support the business through the budgeting and forecasting process and deliver timely and accurate budget and forecast reporting and analysis
•     Maintenance of the general ledger and accounting sub-systems
•     Ensuring financial controls are in place
•     Evaluate operational systems and processes supporting complete and accurate billing and management reporting
•     Meeting all reporting requirements including ATO (IAS, BAS, FBT, ITR) and ASIC

Necessary Skills and Experience:

•     CA/CPA/IPA qualified
•     Strong financial analysis skills including analytical modelling
•     Strong technical accounting knowledge and knowledge of accounting standards
•     MS Office/Excel – intermediate knowledge in Excel
•     Understanding of tax effect accounting and ability to complete tax calculations
•     Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
•     Understanding of MS Dynamics AX, Cognos reporting and Basware (or similar platforms) will be highly regarded

To be successful you have had at least five years post qualification experience in accounting services, preferably at an equivalent sporting body.
