CRICKET JOBS: Fanbase Development Executive - Lancashire CCC (UK)

Supporting the Head of Marketing and Matchday Sales Manager with fanbase development, through proactive development of annual plans for fan engagement activities and events, aimed at growing the active ticket buying fan base for international and domestic cricket at EOT.
A broad marketing and sales role, which covers fanbase development, junior membership, group ticket sales and also Matchday responsibilities to succeed in the role you will already have some sales and marketing experience, ideally within sport, along with an interest in sport, ideally cricket.
You will have excellent administration and organisational skills, along with enthusiasm and commitment, “rolling your sleeves up” and “getting stuck in” at events and match days. Flexible with working hours, as there will be evenings and weekends involved, and own transport to attend off site events.
Areas of responsibility will include the following:
Fan base Development
- Working with the LCB and the Foundation build a database of contact, schools, colleges, sports clubs and community groups.
- Develop an annual plan of events and engagement activity aimed at developing and growing ticket buying fan base.
- Organise and facilitate all events both on site and off site.
- Produce marketing material – promoting events – editorial and images.
Junior Membership
- Assist with marketing plan for the promotion and growth of junior membership. Including copy writing, email broadcast, social media and website updates.
- Develop an annual events calendar for junior membership, the organisation and facilitation of all these events.
Group Ticket Sales
- Working with the Matchday Sales Manager to develop a database to target group sales for both international and domestic matches.
- Developing an outbound sales plan aimed at building relationships and converting sales from the database.
Matchday
- For all domestic T20 and international fixtures act as a point of contact to help coordinate groups of fans attending.
- Arrange and coordinate Matchday activity, including guard of honour and mascot packages.
