The Sydney Sixers are seeking a hard -working and energeticFan, Activation and Community professionalwho has a passion for cricket and the Big Bash League. The Sydney Sixers Fan, Activation and Community Executive will be responsible for connecting the Sydney Sixerswith the community. This will nclude developing relationships with clubs, associations and schools and delivering engaging programs in the community and on match day.

What you will be doing?

• Manage the development of the community and engagement strategy
• Develop and manage key stakeholder engagement including clubs, associations, schools and local government
• Develop and manage Trial game, Fan Day and Club T20 fan engagement opportunities
• Drive activity to make Sydney Sixers the most popular team in the assigned geographic area
• Drive the relationship with Game
• Development on the delivery of strategy
• Manage the Junior Cricket Association program
• Assist with development of the home game event strategy and own the precinct and fan engagement elements on game day
• Work closely with the Events team to ensure each program is executed in a first class manner
• Coordinate key activation and be key contact for suppliers and partners
• Manage the Magentification of the precinct and ensure delivery on all match days
• Manage volunteer/intern team

Who you are?

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in community engagement and events
• Highly organized and efficient
• Ability to work extended hours in season
• Ability to perform manual tasks
• Team player with the ability to work with varied stakeholders
• Strong communicator
• Structured thinker
• Highly motivated with a willingness to learn and develop
• Appropriate qualifications and demonstrated relevant digital and social media experience
