The Lancashire Cricket Board is the National Governing Body for cricket in Lancashire, which covers the areas of Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside. We want to promote the game of cricket at all levels through partnership of the Professional and Recreational Cricketing bodies and all other appropriate agencies within Lancashire.
The Disability Cricket Development Officer role is a 3 years fixed term contract post working 3 days a week. He / she will be responsible for overseeing the LCB's disability programmes across the 4 disability groups (learning disability, physical disability, hearing impaired and visually impaired). A key part of the role will be to engage with key contacts within disability organisations and sports development structures, to re-establish the Lancashire Disabilities Cricket Development Group and to gather insight and feedback in planning future programmes. The post holder will also work alongside the already established Lancashire Disability Squads.

The hours of work will be 21 hours per week (3 days) with some evening and weekend work expected. The post is also subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
