JOBS: Director of Cricket - Stratford CC (UK)

Stratford Cricket Club is seeking to appoint a Director of Cricket with responsibility for co-ordinating and implementing the Club’s overall cricket coaching policy.
The role will encompass the following:
The management, development and selection of all senior teams (the 1st XI squad in particular) with the aim to deliver sustained success to the Club on the field of play.
Act as Chairman of selectors to ensure all teams are picked fairly and with a consistent policy.
Work closely with the Club Captain and Head Coach to ensure that the Club’s players are highly motivated in order to maximise the full potential of the side.
Work closely with the age group Coaches in order to fully develop the youth cricket policies currently in operation at the Club.
Selection is done on a Monday night at the Club.
Net sessions are conducted on a Thursday at the club from 6pm onwards. Previous turnout has been 10-20 people on average per week. With more teams this year we expect this to increase. Winter nets are held at Evesham Prince Henry’s on a Sunday afternoon from 2pm-4pm.
