CRICKET JOBS: Directors and non-Executive Directors - Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Board
Closing date: 30th May 2014
Directors and non-Executive Directors required...
The role of Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Ltd. (L&RCL) is to lead, inspire and influence the growth, quality and accessibility of recreational cricket within the Counties. This is undertaken through professional staff delivering a wide ranging schools programme, community club support, county player pathway in collaboration with the Leicestershire County Cricket Club and other partner organisations.
The L&RCL is based at the County Ground, Grace Road, Leicester
The existing Board wishes to expand to meet the current and future challenges of the sporting landscape by recruiting a number of new directors. An interest in cricket will be useful but not essential.
We are looking for people with energy, enthusiasm and, most importantly, relevant experience to join the current Board and are especially interested in people with expertise in the following areas:
· Strategic Planning
· Marketing & Communications
· Income generation and fundraising
· Human Resources
The Board meets on a quarterly basis and there will be a requirement to support the development of the business through input into relevant sub-committees and/or working groups as required.
These are unpaid positions.
If you want additional information or wish to discuss any of the requirements further please contact Jeff Baxter (L&RCL Chairman) on 07739 422460
Application Forms can be obtained from Ged McDougall (L&RCL Development Director) via ged@leicestershirecricket.co.uk and are to be submitted by Friday 30th May 2014.
