The Position
To be the creative designer for the Club, providing support for all departments of the business across specific areas of creative design.
Main duties:
- Develop Surrey County Cricket Club/Kia Oval branding
- Work within brand guidelines to produce new creative that can be applied across a range of content; match advertising campaigns (especially T20), hospitality, Conference and Events, Membership Campaigns
- Prepare documents/advertising for print and digital output to be used across a wide range of media
- Work independently on multiple jobs to tight deadlines with quick turnaround
- Interact and form a dialogue with different members of staff and external clients to meet briefs and deadlines
Output
- Print Design: Brochure, flyers, posters, newsletters, ground signage, tube ads, outdoor print, tickets, membership collateral
- Digital Content: For display ads, website collateral, email content,
Specific Technical Requirements:
Expertise required in the following Mac based programmes (specifically Adobe CS):
- In Design
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following experience / skills / qualities:
Essential:
- Design based degree (BA Hons in Graphic Design preferable)
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work quickly and independently
Desirable:
- Interest in sport, specifically cricket
- Interest in social media and web based design
Attributes:
- Friendly, ability to communicate on all levels, ability to add personal creative flair to existing briefs
