CRICKET JOBS: Community Cricket Coaches - Buckinghamshire CB (UK)

Buckinghamshire Cricket Board wish to appoint 2 Community Cricket Coaches to help deliver a first-rate Schools Coaching and Competition programme and to coach in and work on the administration of our Boys and Girls Player Pathway.
CONTRACT – Full time position (24 month contract with view to extension depending on funding)
HOURS – 35 hours per week
(Will include evening & weekend coaching. Likely to require more hours in season, less in the autumn)
SALARY – £17,000 + Expenses
Primary Aspects of the Role:
- Schools Coaching – delivering coaching in primary and secondary schools throughout the year, running competitions & administration of programme
- Player Pathway coaching – either Lead Coach of County age group squad or Manager/Assistant Coach plus delivering additional Skill Set & Holiday coaching
Possible Secondary Aspects of the Role:
- Disability coaching
- Communications – newsletters, updating website etc
- Player Pathway Fixture Secretary
- Coach Development support for clubs
Applicants to this post must be able to demonstrate sound coaching experience and be of a minimum UKCC2 qualification in Cricket. An ability to deliver to wide ranging audiences, both adult and junior, is also important. Candidates must possess good organisation and time management skills and be self-motivated with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Some experience of working within a local cricket club junior section or club committee is also desirable.
Applicants must hold a full driving licence and have their own transport. The post holder will also be required to work evenings and weekends as and when required.
