George Town CC is currently seeking expressions of interest for the position of Senior Coach for season 2014-15.

The successful applicant will have, as a minimum, Cricket Australia Level 1 coaching accreditation, preferably Level 2. He/she will be required to work closely with the Club’s Leadership Group and Club committee, facilitate the teams for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Grade, and will also be responsible for match day coaching of the Club’s 1st Grade Cricket North team. The position is for either a playing or non-playing coach.

The Club has a proud history and has been very successful in recent years. The George Town area has a very talented group of youth/senior cricketers to coach and work with. The successful applicant will also be asked to work around this area and look to recruit youth/senior players from the North/North East region, potentially holding training sessions in Scottsdale/Bridport for example.

The successful applicant will require an excellent work ethic and a strong desire to learn and develop their personal and team skills. We believe this position offers great opportunities for any energetic and motivated coach to further his/her coaching career.
