Australian Capital Territory Cricket (Cricket ACT) is the peak cricket body in the ACT and we aim to unite, inspire and support all those who love the sport.

One of the key pillars of the Australian and Cricket ACT strategy is to increase participation by creating effective connections between the classrooms, communities and cricket clubs of the Territory through the various grass roots, male and female, volunteering, coaching and umpiring programs that are run throughout the Territory.

Reporting to and working closely with the board of directors – your key responsibilities will be to develop and drive the Territory’s strategy and implement the MOU in conjunction with Cricket NSW and Cricket Australia with the goal of promoting and developing Cricket as a sport accessible to all across the region. This is a key leadership position and a career opportunity that will allow you to combine your passion for sport with your professional skills and capabilities, including education and engagement, financial management, collaboration, governance and government funding.

Under your leadership, Cricket ACT will work closely with Cricket Australia, ACT Government, State Cricket Associations and district Cricket on the delivery of significant cricket events.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in achieving success in driving growth in member based organisations. Moreover, preferred candidates will have significant experience in working with Board members to deliver on corporate strategy, proven experience in marketing and membership growth, as well as a high level of understanding in the financial management of incorporated associations.
