Derbyshire County Cricket Club is seeking an experienced and highly-motivated Head of Catering who will lead the transition of our £1m+ catering operation from our existing contract catering model to a high quality, customer focused in-house catering operation.

The role is broad and highly rewarding; the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the Club’s match-day catering operation - specifically hospitality, bars and fast food kiosks – and the growing Conference, Meetings, Weddings and Events business at The 3aaa County Ground.

Continual development of the business; menus, products and presentation; service techniques; staff training & leadership; KPI setting, management and motivation; and operational efficiencies will be essential for the success of the role.

We are looking for a candidate with stadium or equivalent multi-unit experience within a catering environment; with strong management and leadership skills. 

The successful candidate will be a coordinator and motivator whose knowledge of a food and beverage operation within a fast paced environment will provide value to our business. 

• Salary IRO £35K (dependent on experience) plus Performance Bonus.
