Cricket Australia (CA) is one of the nation’s premier sporting bodies, and provides an exciting, dynamic environment within the sports and entertainment industry. CA is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket on a national level, ultimately with a responsibility for the national cricket team.
Due to a recent internal movement a new opportunity now exists within the International Cricket Events team for a motivated and professional Business Analyst to join this high performing team on a 9 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Business Manager – International Venues, the role is responsible for the administration of the International Cricket Match reporting process, while ensuring stakeholder and venue compliance the CA match reporting and associated financial standards and processes. This role will also assist in consolidating, managing and reporting on the International Cricket budget, ensuring compliance with financial planning timelines and templates. It is expected that in depth commercial analysis will drive greater commercial outcomes for Australian Cricket by providing key insights, national benchmarking and identifying key trends in relation to revenues and costs.
Key to your success is your ability to engage your stakeholders across Australian Cricket and immediately understand our business requirements. A team player, you are a solutions orientated person and enjoy problem solving. You must have an eye for detail along with a genuine interest in the commercial operations of venues and events and be a natural ‘people person’ who thrives in fast paced environment.
