CA is currently looking for an assistant accountant with finance subject matter expertise. This role offers the opportunity to develop and grow as an accountant within a changing and supportive environment.
Reporting to the Finance Manager this role forms part of CA’s high calibre Business & Advisory Services team. Specifically you will:
- Deliver month-end accounting requirements;
- Meet statutory obligations including BAS and FBT returns;
- Assist with year-end statutory reporting, audits and liaising with auditors;
- Develop within the role to take responsibility for the accounting function;
- Be responsible for processing of stock and oversee stock management.
The successful candidate will have commenced their CPA studies (or equivalent professional qualification) and be familiar with stock, fixed assets, FBT and hedging accounting requirements.
Whilst not essential, demonstrated exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX, Cognos and online purchase order, accounts payable and expense management systems will be considered an advantage.
