Cricket christmas present ideas
Everyone loves a cricket christmas present, or at least the idea of a christmas present. I mean, potentially you could be getting a new bat but you end up with a clock made out of a cricket ball.
But as it's 'gifting season' now is the time to get everyone you love unique cricket presents. An especially good tactic if your family actually like cricket.
- Framing Success. Get the scorecard of their greatest performance framed. Cheap to do and personalised as you get. Everyone wins.
- Equipment. Predictable I know, but the new ranges are in at Serious Cricket. So go for the safe option. All cricketers need something new.
- Clothes. Forget about whites, that's more boring than kit. But a serious cricket player might want personalised training gear. Everyone loves something with their name on it. Extra points if you get the club logo on it.
- Books. Cricket books aplenty this time of year. Don't go for the dull autobiography though. Get them a book that will improve their cricket. Twice the present.
- Coaching Courses. At the expensive end, you could get a place on an ECB coaching course. Everyone learns something about his or her game by learning to teach it. You may still be getting thanks years later. Plus the kids at your local club may benefit from an extra volunteer at the nets.
